The worship of Adi Varahi Mata falls under the domain of Tantra Sadhana. In Sri Vidya Sadhana, the primary mantras, kavach (armor), and Ashtottara Shatanamavali (108 names) of Mata Varahi are included.
For those who practice the Sri Adi Varahi Stotram:
- All sins are destroyed.
- Constant recitation with devotion provides liberation from all sins, troubles, and sorrows.
- All their enemies are vanquished.
- They achieve a long life.
- All their diseases and ailments are eradicated, resulting in a healthy body.
Mata Varahi is considered one of the fierce goddesses. Typically, only advanced practitioners undertake her worship. Due to her fierce nature, her favor can remove even the greatest obstacles, diseases, hindrances, and fears. However, it is crucial to strictly follow the rules and pronunciation in her mantra recitation and worship.
For ordinary material desires and problems, there is no need to worship the fierce forms. The gentle forms of deities are sufficient. Only in very special difficulties, such as when one’s own or loved ones’ lives are in danger, or when facing significant business losses, should one invoke and worship fierce forms like Mahavidyas and Mata Varahi.
It is important to note that these practices should only be undertaken under the guidance and supervision of a qualified guru.
